First, set the date you’ll launch with Easeworks: Either the 1st or 16th of the current or upcoming month when your first payroll will run. Then, work with your dedicated onboarding manager to activate your account, close your existing account (if you’re making the switch from another provider), set up benefits, and get your employees on the platform.
Two things factor into a mid-year switch: tax obligations and benefits.
A mid-year switch to Easeworks would not reset your federal payroll tax obligations. Your state payroll tax obligations will depend on the state. If your team is enrolled in benefits, note that deductibles and FSA accounts may be affected. Get started anytime for help with the switch.
